FAQ - How This Works

STEP 1:
Create an Account if you do not already have one. Handles are limited to 10 characters as they are in the game. Once your Account has been created, personalize it by changing your Settings.

STEP 2:
Browse the list of Un-Rated and Rated Players and Challenge someone to a game. They will receive an e-mail letting them know that you Challenged them. They then have 7 days to Accept your Challenge. They are NOT required to play you. If they do not Accept the Challenge in 7 days it will be removed from our system.

You cannot Play a Ranked Game against the same player more frequently than once every 7 days.

STEP 3:
When one of your Challenges is Accepted you are ready to play the game. You and your Opponent have 7 days to play the game.

When you play it is a good idea to set your Commanders name in the game to whatever your Handle is here. This way when other players download the replays they will know who is who.

You must record the following information about the game:
     - Map Size (Small, Medium, Large, Huge)
     - Time Limit (None, 15, 30, 60 secs)
     - Wind (None, Low, Medium, High)
     - Fog of War (Yes, No)
     - Number of Moves (available after the replay has been saved)
     - A copy of the replay file
THE REPLAY FILE MUST BE SAVED and then exported
          with a utility available here:

STEP 4:
After your game has been played you submit the outcome via your
Active Games list in your Account. Either or both players can submit the outcome of a game. But at least 1 is REQUIRED to.

When a player submits an outcome both players are e-mailed the details of what that player submitted. If the outcome submitted first is correct the other player doesn't have to do anything. What the first player submitted will be assumed to be correct.

If, however, there is a discrepency with what the first player submits, the second player should ALSO submit the outcome of the game. BEWARE! Any differing submissions between two players of the same game will result in a dispute... These are annoying. So everyone make sure that what you are RECORDING is correct and that you ENTER it correctly.
